So I finished this one. Its so cute! I love how Retro it is ;) and bright and colorful sure to look great on the beach.
I have three more suits sitting on my desk, waiting to get sewn. I also made a great pair of satin panties tonight, that are already packed and ready to ship to Washington DC in the morning. So time to catch a bit of shut eye, before getting back at it ;)

So I made prototype #2 for underwear for my man. It takes time creating your own design. The bum looks perfect!!! No adjustments needed there. So Im happy about that. The front needs some adjustments. But I'm thinking prototype # 3 will be close to being a success. I'm looking forward to adding a mens line to my collection. Today I whipped a cute lil outfit. Its important to try to post new items daily to your shop, so I aim to do just that! So I will include a lil pic of my latest outfit! Tomorrow, I plan on sewing a few swimsuits together as well. Well, I haven't started on my mans underwear yet! BUT I did make something else today. I took some before and after pics to share with everyone.

So you can see all my pieces on my desk. And then the end result of course. Its a size small, and oh so cute! I hope you you all like it! I've gotta go cause I still need to sew the panties to go with it. :)Til next time!

I promised my boyfriend that I would really put forth an effort to finally begin to create my men's line! I did make 1 prototype. And it really wasn't all that bad. I didn't draft a pattern, I just freestyled the cut out of the tester fabric, and threw them together!! I was actually impressed with the results, I needed to make some adjustments, but for the most part it worked. So this time I'm going to sit done, and draft a pair out, and make my man some sexy underwear. I got some fantastic fabric, as you can see in the picture, that would make a fantastic pair! And I think adding a men's line might be just what my shop needs. Or maybe I would OPEN a new shop? Hmmm I think I will have to give that some thought.

So tomorrow,before I start my drafting project, I am off to the fabric store. I need to get black stretch satin for a bra that will be made and shipped to New York. It will also be for a pair of panties going to Washington, DC.I will post some pics of the pieces of fabric when I get it all cut out. It always amazes me how little fabric you really need to make a bra. It is mostly made up of elastics. LOL It is so exciting! The fact, that my lingerie is going all over the place!! Texas! New York! San Diego! Washington! Georgia! I love it!! I want to apply at some boutiques, to see if anyone would like to sell my swimsuits and lingerie! I would love to see my products worldwide!! Sewing is a great experience

Sewing lingerie is a very gratifying experience. Lingerie is a very personal item, and everyone has different tastes. I have learned I can duplicate many styles, simply using a picture. I really like how vintage style lingerie is making a grand comeback. I love using high quality fabrics, to make my lingerie. It feels so nice, while sewing the product and it really does make the difference in the finished look of a product. I'm focusing on building stock for my first craft show.
